About Me!
My name is Sean Creighton, and I am a Narrative and Character Designer for Games and Sound Designer for mixed media.
I am an Alumni from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor of Arts in Animation & Games, Minor in Audio Production, and Cum Laude Honors, and have been working in Game Design since 2020 for an ongoing world building project.
I have several Game Jam projects under my belt, earning awards through UTD's Student Game Developer Association, as well as a solo game project I completed my in Spring 2025 called 'Dragon Trails'! All of which are available in my projects tab and on my itch.io profile.
Also, through UTD's Game Production Lab, I was also the Narrative Designer for the course's 2025-2026 survival horror game project 'InVein' which is now available for download on Steam for free!

Through my time at UTD, I have taken several courses specialized in developing my skills for Game Design as the focus of my ANGM Major.
The most relevant have been Games & Narrative I & II with Dr. Monica Evans, Game Design I & II with Dr. Timothy Christopher, Game Production Lab (F25-S26) with Prof. Tim Lewis and Prof. Randall Villegas, Virtual Environments I & II also with Prof. Tim Lewis, Creative Writing with Dr. Bahar Momeni, and other relevant courses such as Level Design I and Game Studies I.
While working on my Audio Production Minor, I also took Sound Design for Games and Recording Studio Techniques I & II with Prof. Hal Fitzgerald, and History of Audio Technology with Prof. David Marks
Extracurriculars @ UTD
Anime Orchestra Ensemble
- Organization President
- A/V Team
- Performing Choir Member
Student Game Developer Association
- Game Jam Award Winners
During my time at UTD, I was heavily involved within two student orgs;
I was most actively involved in the Anime Orchestra Ensemble (AOE) from the start of my sophomore year through my graduation year.
AOE is a student run performing organization that arranges and performs live covers of music from both Anime and Video Game media. I started out as choir member with my roommates due to my background in music from high school, but very soon found myself invested in the community of students and began to apply myself more.
I also applied to join the AV Production Team in order to handle tech for performances and create videos that would play for our orchestra performances from my background in Adobe Premiere, and later on stepped up to apply to be the organization's President in order to help manage and promote the community that helped me grow so much as a leader, performer, and artist.
I was also frequently involved with the Student Game Developer Association (SGDA), especially for their seasonal Game Jams.
My roommates and I would make up the team of 5 maximum members, and once the theme for the jam was announced there would be 10 days for each team to develop and submit their game to SGDA's Jam Page on itch.io.
With my team, we have earned several awards from SGDA's judges, such as Best Sound Design for 'Gat & Mouse' (F23) and Best Overall for '9mm Pistol Shrimp: Operation Shrimpterfuge' (F24). Unfortunately our third entry 'CameleOPs' (F25) was unable to be scored due to it being multiplayer only, but all three of these games are available for download for free on their respective project pages or from my Itch page.
Before College
Boy Scouts of America
- Eagle Scout
- Senior Patrol Leader
- Troop Guide
Obra D. Tompkins HS
- National Honors Society
- OTHS Wind Symphony
- Load Crew Captain
Before college, I was an active Boy Scout in BSA Troops 490 and 424 based in Katy, TX. Through my time in these troops, I achieved the rank of Eagle Scout with two palms for merit badges that exceeded the count required, was the Senior Patrol Leader of Troop 490 for a total of 9 months, and was a Troop Guide for Troop 424 to help teach younger scouts while I finished my last requirements for Eagle.
In high school, I had also become a member of the National Honors Society (NHS) and was heavily involved in the OTHS Marching Band & Wind Symphony; where I was also appointed the role of Load Crew Captain, where I became responsible for ensuring all performing equipment and instruments were loaded onto our program's 18-wheeler for safe transport.
These programs required intense dedication, which in return have given me the skills to balance a high work load, and to complete projects with an efficient work ethic.
Other Certifications
Adobe Suite
- Adobe Premiere Pro Professional Certification
Along with my skills in design, during my senior year of high school I was the Lead Editor for my school's news team, Falcon News Flash.
I used this chance to become proficient in video editing & composition, and was able to become professionally certified within the Adobe Premiere Pro software.
